"Planting flowers in the already lush garden that is the local scene." There is already a powerful articulation of hope coming from local scenes across the world, Hashtag Hope has had the privilege of joining these communities over the past 10 years.
The local artist and musician scene is a safe place to express yourself. It is a powerful and organic example of community with honesty & authenticity at it's core. Usually these events are happening in non-traditional spaces with a "do it yourself" style approach. The Hashtag Hope Table has had the privilege of being invited in to these communities across Canada.
The Hashtag Hope Table is a special space to explore deep ideas of life and hope freely and safely. The Hashtag Hope resiliency resources are all created by The Hashtag Hope creative team and available for free to anyone who wants/needs them. Wether taking multiple for friends, or reading them and leaving them for someone else. One of the main Hashtag Hope outreach and prevention programs is tabling these zines and resources all across Ontario and beyond.
The table at times also offer free hearing protection during the louder events, as well as free stickers of our designs. - Depending on the event the table also acts as a small merch store to help fundraise for more materials and event costs.
